When we were looking for a wedding photographer we had a few key things we could only hope to find all in one place. A fresh, interesting perspective on photos, the ability to catch candid moments that we would have otherwise missed, and a realistic price for a couple funding their own wedding. Ron met all three! He also brought a calm energy to the day that made me feel like a movie star while keeping me relaxed at the same time. When he met up with me at the salon before the wedding to take “getting ready” shots I was a frazzled mess a nerves, overly concerned with what could go wrong with the day. His calm composure and professional but friendly manner helped me to let go and truly enjoy the day. I think any experienced wedding photographer is part therapist to the bride! Ron listened to how we wanted our photos to look and what overall style we were hoping for – he exceeded our expectations. He is truly versatile and can actualize any ideas you may have for how you want your photos to turn out. Our pictures are amazing! He caught every expression and gesture my husband and I made during our ceremony ~ I had no idea we were so animated. And the photos of our kiss could be turned into a flip book. My fiance and I booked A22 for our July 2012 wedding. We took an excursion a few weeks ago to the Columbia Gorge to take incredible engagement photos. Ron was very accommodating; he expertly walked the fine line between allowing us to be creative while also professionally guiding us to take the best shots. He had this great idea to run through some tall grass and those fun shots wound up being some of the best photos from the shoot! The hardest part now is picking which of the many great photos to put on our Save the Dates. It is a huge piece of mind knowing that my wedding photography is already in the bag with A22. I know with Ron’s eye for great and unique shots on top of his flexibility with meeting his clients’ needs, we are going to have our wedding exquisitely captured for the rest of our lives.

I had known Ron for a few years before asking him to photograph our wedding. He had only done a couple weddings at the time but we really loved his style and knew that he would be easy to work with. He always responded to emails and phone calls and he worked with our schedule. He kept it very professional and laid back. Ron had great ideas and was more than willing to pursue any ideas that we had. A few days before the wedding, I had broken a blood vessel in my eye and by the time the big day arrived, any white in my eye was now red. I was pretty upset the morning of, but Ron kept reassuring me that he would take care of it. I was blown away at how well he was able to edit the photos. He, not only, was able to get rid of the red but made it look like the photos had never been touched. When I look at the photos now I don’t even think about the blood shot eye, which at the time, I considered the one “tragedy” of the day. Ron was a lifesaver. Not only did he contribute to making that day a great one but he was able to salvage our memories.

Ron shot my wedding a few years ago now, and he did a fabulous job. He was silently in the background when he needed to be out of the way, and directed everyone when we needed direction.
